背景说明
Have you met sb Do you know sb 你认识某人吗?
这句话常被用来介绍双方认识。meet 的意思不是单纯的见面,而是彼此经过谈话,认识对方。 see则是看到,而不是交谈。因此I've seen him but we haven't met. 表示看过,但不认识。
如果你是被介绍的一方,介绍人可能会说......, this is my friend,....... 如果别人没有主动介绍你,你可以自我介绍说:My name is .... .
礼貌上,要表示很高兴认识对方,有几种说法:It's nice to meet you. I'm glad to meet you. I am pleased to meet you. I am pleased to meet you. It's a pleasure to meet you.
